Frequently Asked Questions

How do I upgrade to Premium?

You can upgrade to Premium directly from the app by tapping the "Upgrade to Pro" button in the Settings screen or when you hit a free tier limit. Choose your preferred subscription plan (monthly or annual) and complete the purchase through the App Store.

How do I cancel my subscription?

For iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Object Counter, and tap "Cancel Subscription".

For Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Object Counter, and tap "Cancel Subscription".

You can also manage subscriptions through the Settings screen within the app.

Is my data safe and private?

Absolutely! Object Counter does not collect any personal data. All your images, projects, and counting results stay on your device. We don't have access to your data, and we don't track your activity. For AI scanning, images are temporarily processed by OpenAI's Vision API but are not stored. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Why isn't AI scanning working?

AI scanning requires an active internet connection. Make sure you're connected to WiFi or cellular data. If you're on the free tier, you may have reached your monthly AI scan limit. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited AI scans, or wait until your monthly limit resets.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests are handled by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), as they process all payments. To request a refund, please contact Apple or Google support directly. We do not have direct access to process refunds.

How accurate is the AI object detection?

AI-powered detection uses advanced computer vision technology to identify and count objects. Accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and object clarity. For best results, use well-lit photos with clear, distinct objects. You can always manually adjust counts after AI scanning for perfect accuracy.
