Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the mobile app PLAB 1 Exam Prep: UKMLA QBank (the "App"), which is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. On Google Play the App is published by CodeFrame LLC. On the Apple App Store the App is published by Umair Siddique. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean the developer of the version of the App you use: CodeFrame LLC for the Google Play version, and Umair Siddique for the Apple App Store version. That developer is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not ask you to create an account, and it does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.

• Study data: your quiz and mock exam results, study progress, bookmarks, streak, daily goal and settings. This data is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us.
• Crash reports: if the App crashes, a crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service). It contains technical details such as the error, your device model, operating system version, app version and an installation identifier.
• Usage analytics: the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used, for example which screens are opened and which features are used. This includes an app instance identifier, device and operating system details, and an approximate location (country) based on your IP address. It is not linked to your name.
• Purchase information: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card or payment details. To check whether you have an active subscription, the App sends your purchase receipts and an anonymous app user identifier to RevenueCat, our subscription service.
• Study reminders: if you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your device. No reminder data is sent to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To show your study progress, results and recommendations inside the App
• To provide and restore your subscription
• To find and fix crashes and bugs
• To understand which features are used and improve the App
• To answer you when you contact us

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following service providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics): firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• RevenueCat (subscription management): revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Play (Android app distribution, payments and in-app ratings): policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple App Store (iOS app distribution, payments and in-app ratings): apple.com/legal/privacy

We share data with these providers only so they can provide their service to the App.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Your study data stays on your device until you delete the App. Crash reports and analytics data are kept by Google for a limited time under Firebase's retention settings. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat, Google Play and Apple for as long as needed to manage your subscription and to meet legal requirements.

5. Data Security

Data sent to our service providers is encrypted in transit. Because your study data is stored on your device, its security also depends on your device's own security settings, such as your screen lock.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is made for medical graduates and doctors preparing for the PLAB 1 exam. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Delete your study data: uninstall the App. This removes all study data stored on your device.
• Turn off reminders: in the App's Settings, or in your device's notification settings.
• Ask about or delete other data: email us at umairkhalidsidd@gmail.com to ask what data is held about you, or to ask us to delete crash, analytics or subscription data linked to your device. We will reply within 30 days.
• Manage your subscription: in your Google Play or Apple ID subscription settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
